Following the success of his latest single “Comes a Moment,” Jonathan Cavier is excited to announce the return of the “Cavier Covers” series with today’s release of “Forever,” originally by KISS. This new version from the Phoenix-based singer songwriter is now available on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, and all major digital outlets. Debuting in August 2016, the “Cavier Covers” series continues to highlight Jonathan’s favorite and most influential musical moments and heroes – from the Duran Duran cover “Save a Prayer” to the recent release of George Michael’s “Waiting (Reprise).” Cavier puts his own spin on each of the Cavier Covers songs, and “Forever” is no different. This new version is transposed from the original and also includes Cavier’s signature atmospheric keyboard elements and drum programming.
From Jonathan: “The band KISS is basically the reason that I became a musician. The very first time I performed onstage, I dressed as Ace in a KISS cover band in a school talent show. We performed “Rock and Roll All Night” – and we won the talent show!” Cavier also says he tried to see any KISS performances he could, and eventually he “met Paul, Ace, and Eric Carr over the years. Paul is one of the coolest rock stars I’ve ever met.” “Forever” was cemented as an influential song in Cavier’s life when “my wife and I had “Forever” played when we walked down the aisle after we got married.” This cover comes at a pivotal time for Cavier, as he is putting finishing touches on a new album of original music, slated for a summer 2017 release. All of Jonathan Cavier’s music, from his debut solo album ‘Premier’ to “Forever,” is available to stream on Spotify. Cavier has also begun curating Spotify playlists of his favorite music centered around various topics.
